Wossner Porsche Pistons have an excellent reputation for longevity and performance. With 3 distinct sizes available you can keep your early 2.4 liter 911 running well into the future.
In order to assure the highest quality forged pistons, Wossner produces all of their own forgings in a plant separate from their piston manufacturing facility. In this way they can completely control the quality of the forgings which so crucially affect the end product. Made from 4032 T6 Aluminum, these forged pistons will hold up to the abusive life of a high performance air cooled 911 piston.
These pistons are made with a slightly greater dome volume than stock so they will increase the Compression Ratio of the 2.4 liter 911 engines to 10.0:1, giving a bit more HP and torque just from the raised compression ratio. The ring pack that comes with the piston kit is a state of the art 1.0mm top ring and 1.2 mm 2nd ring along with a 2.5mm oil ring which help to reduce friction and free up more HP.
